Meet Sonal
Sonal is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine specialist practicing in the Houston area. She is passionate about helping people heal naturally through Eastern Medicine, dietary modifications, and lifestyle adjustments. By combining acupuncture, herbs, and nutrition, she focuses on treating the root causes of health issues and supporting the body’s natural healing mechanisms.
After working as a Respiratory Therapist for more than nine years and witnessing patients struggle with the side effects of pharmaceuticals and the lack of preventative education, Sonal transitioned her career to Chinese Medicine. Through her clinical experience in both fields, she has had the unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and has discovered that integrative medicine is essential for optimal health.
By intuitively listening to the needs of each patient, Sonal fosters a sense of trust and compassion among her clientele. She believes in creating a healing space where patients feel safe to openly discuss their concerns, which is a crucial step in the healing process. In this supportive environment, she feels fortunate to meet diverse individuals who have influenced her own life path. Sonal understands that cooperation between clinician and client is invaluable to effective patient care.
Outside of the clinic, Sonal enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, meditating, trying new recipes, and reading science fiction. She values her upbringing in Houston and is dedicated to returning to her community to share her services.
